Practising mindfulness while walking
Mindfulness can be practiced anywhere, any time. Mindfulness is awareness in the moment that you are in. It is an awareness of the present and a full focus on wherever you are and whatever you are doing. It can involve an awareness of breathing, mental imagery, awareness of body and mind, and muscle and body relaxation.
It allows us to be more present, to be compassionate, to drop into our bodies when we’re feeling difficult emotions, to relax and to feel peaceful.
